Fix-it Fair is a bi-annual repair cafe at the Station North Tool Library in Baltimore. After first participating in 2022, I joined the organizing group and have since helped make six events happen, each one better than the last. In 2025, we hosted about 300 patrons with the help of more than 70 volunteers. I typically get my hands dirty in the catch-all "tinkering" area but have also contributed in the bike repair and furniture repair areas.
